Welcome to The Homemaker's Hustle
I never planned to build a brand.
I just wanted to understand my skin.
After a dermatologist recommended a prescription treatment for sun damage, I went home and did what I always do — I researched until the answers made sense to me.
That search led me to tallow, frankincense resin, and castor oil. Not as trends, but as ingredients with a long history of use and a simplicity my skin responded to. Over time, I began formulating my own balms — intentionally, slowly, and without chasing novelty.
Those formulas eventually became worth sharing.
How I make these balms
I don’t formulate for trends or aesthetics.
I formulate for skin that needs restraint.
Each balm is made in small batches using intentional ingredients chosen to support comfort, softness, and the skin barrier. Herbs and resins are prepared with time, not shortcuts, and anything unnecessary is left out.
Simple ingredients.
Simple processes.
Made to be used, not collected.
But this space has grown beyond skincare
